What is a Nexus Opinion?
A Nexus Opinion is an independent medical opinion that addresses whether a Veteran’s current medical condition is related to military service or to an already service-connected condition.
Depending on the circumstances, an opinion may address direct service connection, secondary service connection, aggravation, continuity of symptoms, or another medically supportable relationship.

The review may include service treatment records, VA and private medical records, diagnostic studies, prior VA examinations or decisions, current diagnoses and treatment history, and relevant medical literature when appropriate.

Pricing
Independent Medical Nexus Opinion — $600
The fee includes individualized review of the available medical records, medical analysis, review of relevant medical literature when appropriate, preparation of the written opinion, and final review.
One medical condition or claimed relationship per opinion.
Complex cases involving unusually extensive records or multiple medical questions may require additional review. Any additional cost will be discussed with the Veteran before work begins.
