Frequency of visits will depend upon status of disease.

Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Hypertriglyceridemia medications are recommended and encouraged as last resort when lifestyle modifications do not improve disease states.

Laboratory studies are usually necessary to monitor severity of disease and disease improvement after treatment begins.  H2O will recommend blood and or urine tests for which you will go to the laboratory we have partnered with to have the studies collected.  This is an out-of-pocket expense that you are required to pay to the laboratory facility collecting your blood and or urine studies.

When laboratory results are available, you will receive notification to schedule a follow up appointment to discuss the results and treatment recommendations as indicated.  You are not obligated to follow up however in order for H2O to provide you the proper care, we need you, as the team leader, to follow up on these results in order to help attain your health goals.

Should x-rays be recommended, the same process applies as with laboratory services.  H2O will recommended imaging studies unique to your medical condition and you will go to the radiologic imaging center that we have partnered with to have the studies performed.  This is an out-of-pocket expense that you are required to pay to the institution providing the x-ray service.

When x-ray imaging results are available, you will receive notification to schedule a follow up appointment to discuss the results and treatment recommendations as indicated.  You are not obligated to follow up however in order for H2O to provide you the proper care, we need you, as the team leader, to follow up on these results in order to help attain your health goals.

Pharmacotherapy [prescriptions]

As mentioned, H2O will try to minimize the use of prescription medications as much as possible. However, should a disease state arise for which medication is necessary, we will provide you all the information you need to help determine if you will proceed with filling a specific prescription medication.  This, too, is an out-of-pocket expense that you are required to pay directly to the pharmacy from which you turn in your prescription medication for fulfilment.

Medication compliance is often a serious issue and not because individuals “refuse” to take medication, it is often due to day-to-day distractions in one’s life or overall uncertainty for the need of medication.  The decision to take prescription medication is YOURs and we reserve YOUR right to take or not take medication.  H2O only requires that you please be honest and forthcoming with the frequency in which to take your prescription, or any other, medications so we are able to make ongoing recommendations for your health.   Not providing accurate information can result in serious negative health outcomes including but not limited to worsening disease states, evolution of new disease and even death.

We encourage to you ask questions about how you can improve your health without having to rely on prescription medication.  Again, bear in mind, some disease conditions will not improve without prescription medications (severe asthma, COPD, and diabetes to name a few)
