One-Time Visit appointment (Non-Member)

Step 1: Click on the Services Tab in the top of the page.  

Step 2: Click on the “One-Time Visit (Non-Member)” tab underneath.

Step 3: Review the information and charges on this page.

Step 4: Click Purchase on the bottom of the page.  This will be added to the shopping cart and will display to the right-hand side of your screen.

Step 5: Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Checkout. 

Step 6: On this page, you will enter your billing information, read the Heroes Healing Others Contract, check the box acknowledging you read the contract, create a password, and then hit submit.  

Individual + Family Monthly Contract

Step 1: Click on the “Memberships” Tab on the top of the page.

Step 2: Click on the “Individual Membership” tab underneath.

Step 3: On Left Side, you will see Individual + Family Membership Plan (Monthly).

Step 4: Scroll down past the “billing periods” section and you will see the words “individual” with a drop-down menu at the end. 

Step 5: Use your curser, click anywhere inside the drop-down box to select the specific plan you want to purchase. The options are: Individual (displayed), Couple, Family of 3, Family of 4, Family of 5, or Family of 6. 

Step 6: After selecting the plan, click buy now. This will take you to a new page.

Step 7: On this page, you will enter your billing information, read the Heroes Healing Others Contract, check the box acknowledging you read the contract, create a password, and then hit submit.  

Individual + Family Yearly Contract

Step 1: Click on the “Memberships” Tab on the top of the page.

Step 2: Click on the “Individual Membership” tab underneath

Step 2: On right side, you will see “Yearly Individual + Family Membership Plan.” 

Step 3: Scroll down until you see the words “individual” with a curser at the end. 

Step 4: Use your curser, click anywhere inside the drop-down box to select the specific plan you want to purchase. The options are: Individual (displayed), Couple, Family of 3, Family of 4, Family of 5, or Family of 6. 

Step 5: After selecting the plan, click buy now. This will take you to a new page.

Step 6: On this page, you will enter your billing information, read the Heroes Healing Others Contract, check the box acknowledging you read the contract, create a password, and then hit submit.  

Business Memberships

Step 1: Click on the “Memberships” Tab on the top of the page.

Step 2: Click on the “Business Membership” tab underneath.

Step 3: Use your curser, click anywhere inside the drop-down box to select the specific number of employees you company employs. The options are: 2-10, 11-20, 21-30, or 31-40. 

Step 4: After selecting the number of employees you need coverage for, click “BUY NOW.” This will take you to a new page.

Step 5: On this page, you will enter your billing information, read the Heroes Healing Others Contract, check the box acknowledging you read the contract, create a password, and then hit submit.  

Once your appt is scheduled. Your provider will send you a link.

When you set up your account with Heroes Healing Others, you will have the option to establish your preferred pharmacy.

It is important to remember that we are not in cooperation with any insurance company at this time.  

You may be responsible for the full payment of medications prescribed to you by our office.

 

That said, some pharmacies will still accept prescriptions from non-network providers and submit them to your insurance company for full or partial reimbursement.

We recommend you research your options before or soon after you begin your health journey with Heroes Healing Others.

There are several programs available to offset expensive medications.  

GoodRx® is a popular option to obtain discounted prices on medication.

Common, acute and chronic disease medications such as those for blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, certain skin conditions, contraception, vitamins, weight loss substances*,

antibiotics, antihistamines, antidepressants, and so forth.

The best way to find out if we are able to prescribe or refill a specific medication is to submit an inquiry regarding the specific medication.

*We do not prescribe amphetamines or amphetamine like substances for weight loss

Scheduled or “controlled substances”*

For example: benzodiazipines**, narcotics, stimulants***, atypical antipsychotics, antipsychotics.

Anticoagulants (blood thinners)

Autoimmune medication

HIV/AIDS medication

Certain hormone regimens

**Under unique circumstances, Heroes Healing Others my grant a very limited number of anxiety reducing agents however, a contractual agreement must be rendered before medication is prescribed.  

For example: Heroes Healing Others recommends and refers you for an MRI.  You have a well-documented fear of enclosed spaces.  Heroes Healing Others may consider a provisionary, one time prescription for an anti-anxiety medication such as Valium. This is subject to careful review of available medical records and overall health condition of the patient.

***Provided the diagnosis is already established, we can continue to prescribe medications for ADHD however Heroes Healing Others’ policy regarding treatment for ADHD is a separate contract agreement requiring more frequent consultation and periodic lab work.

The best way to find out if we are able to prescribe or refill a specific medication is to submit an inquiry regarding the specific medication.

Heroes Healing Others has a separate contract regarding exclusionary conditions.  Heroes Healing Others makes no promise to prescribe a particular medication within that contract and may, at any time, terminate a contract regarding said prescriptions if the patient fails to comply with stipulations regarding the treatment plan.

Heroes Healing Others DOES NOT handle emergency or potentially life-threatening situations.

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency or are unsure if your situation is life-threatening, call 911 for emergency medical care.

If your condition is a severe condition, call 911 or immediately go to the nearest emergency room.

Heroes Healing Others DOES handle “acute” illness such as strep throat, flu, ear infection, urinary tract infection, poison ivy, sprains, strains, simple lacerations, etc.

Conditions that are considered potentially life-threatening include but are not limited to*:

Signs of a heart attack:  chest pain, pain the radiates to the arm, neck or jaw, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, severe nausea with weakness.

Signs of a stroke: asymmetric facial drooping, slurred speech, confusion, weakness on one or both sides of the body, severe headache, any other sudden neurologic changes.

Signs of a blood clot: pain, swelling, redness in an extremity that is unequal to the opposite extremity (calf to calf, arm to arm).

Other possible signs of a blood clot: sudden headache, chest pain, abdominal pain or pain in the extremities.

Signs of other emergencies: new or worsening headache accompanied by other neurologic symptoms.

Other emergency conditions Heroes Healing Others recommends seeking treatment through urgent or emergency consultation are: 

-Broken bones

-Lacerations that may require x-ray imaging before suturing can be placed

-Labor

-Hemorrhage or heavy bleeding

-Vaginal bleeding

-Sudden abdominal pain

-Unrelenting nausea, vomiting

*Even if you schedule an appointment with one of our specialists, Heroes Healing Others may still consider your condition urgent in nature and direct you call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Heroes Healing Others DOES NOT accept payment from health insurance companies.

Heroes Healing Others is a fee-for-service team providing care at a reasonable, low cost to help alleviate high insurance premiums and co-pays.

That said, your insurance company may accept request for reimbursement for services rendered however that is between you and your insurance company; Heroes Healing Others does not get involved.

Absolutely, you reserve the right to cancel your contract anytime.

However, you are still responsible to pay all outstanding invoices and all prepaid money is non-refundable.
